Coach's Message

The 2008 Costa Mesa Mustang baseball squad is gearing up for another exciting season. This year, the Mustangs will again compete for the Orange Coast League championship along with Estancia, Laguna Beach, and Calvary Chapel. Led by four returning starters: starting pitcher, Andrew Millian, starting outfielders, Cody Spoulos and Gabe Sanchez, and starting shortstop, Mike Molina. This year’s team is looking to match the success of the 2007 squad, which made the school’s first playoff appearance in six years. In addition to Orange Coast League competition, the Mustangs will play a challenging non-league schedule which includes doubleheaders against Beckman and Oxford Academy, a match-up against district-foe Corona del Mar, and appearances in the Newport Elks Tournament and the 2008 Beach Pit Classic. All in all, the 2008 Mustang baseball season promises to be one to remember.
